2nd Annual Halloween ÿOhana Fun Night

Püÿulu Aukahi Mäkua would like to extend a heartfelt mahalo to all the wonderful volunteers who made our 2nd Annual Halloween Fun Night a success.  With over 280 haumäna, ÿohana, and community members in attendance, it would not have been possible without your kökua.

Mahalo piha!

Box Tops for Education

The Box Tops For Education Program is off to a great start!  KANU's first submission for the 2013-14 school year earned $172.  Add that to the $63.30 submitted at the start of summer and together KANU has earned $235.30!  We are almost halfway to our $500 goal!

The BTFE program pays 10¢ per valid coupon submitted,  up to $20,000 per school year .  It's simple - look for and bring in the BTFE coupons; ask other supporters to help (family, friends, clubs, etc); place in an envelope or Ziploc type bag; drop off your coupons to the office.  We do the counting, bundling, and mailing.

Remember, Box Tops for Education is a year-round program so continue checking the Kleenex and Ziploc boxes in your classroom, cereal boxes, baking products, Avery Paper products, and more.  Please visit
www.btfe.com for ways to earn and program information.

Here are BTFE deadline dates for the 2013-14 school year.

Wednesday, February 28
Wednesday, May 7 (end of school year—will be applied toward SY 2014-15)
