It is with much aloha that I have submitted my resignation as Director/Principal of Kanu o ka ‘Āina NCPCS. Words cannot express how grateful I am for having been given the opportunity to lead KANU from a fledgling program to a fully accredited Hawaiian-focused charter school. At the same time, now that KANU is accredited – transitioning from a baby to an adult - it is no longer necessary for me to “mother” this baby. More excitingly, stepping down from my administrative duties at KANU will free me to pursue my passion as a scholar and researcher.
