Hunehune Kalo - August 13, 2009
Welcome to SY 2009-2010 and our first HUNEHUNE KALO. Even with an impending hurricane that turned out to be nothing more than some rain, we had a wonderful start of school. It’s truly a delight to hear the joyful voices of our students chanting and chatting and see the smiling faces of students, staff and ‘ohana members throughout the various campus sites. There is excitement in the air, as we enter our 10th year as a Hawaiian-focused charter school. There is a spirit of collaboration and friendship, and a feeling of aloha that permeates all of our sites.
