COVID-19 UPDATE November 6, 2020
As of today November 6, at 2:30 P.M. the confirmed COVID-19 cases within the Kanu o ka ʻĀina ʻohana remain at two, and there are no additional positive cases. Additionally, the individuals who have been identified as “close contacts” by DOH have all received negative COVID results. The Hawaii State Department of Health remains the lead agency in terms of notifying individuals who are possibly exposed. If you have any concerns, please consult with your health care provider.
Kauhale campus and all programs remain closed until November 16, 2020. We are working with the Department of Health, Kanu and KALO program leaders, the Charter School Commission, Kanu Board and KALO Board. During this fluid situation updates will be posted daily by 2:30 p.m. on our websites. The parent alert system will be used as needed.
